Something Might Be Right

Where does pain come from

Is it from the choices we refuse to make

Or just from the lives broken by thoughtless words

Spoken by someone who never knew how bad it’d hurt

Spoken as if love was never meant to work

I believe that we are more than this

I believe that Faith and Love still exist

It’s so plain to see, at least it is to me

That we’re missing the point of life

So focused on what’s wrong

We forget to remember that something might be right

No, I’m not saying that the worlds perfect

I’m just saying that it might not be as bad as we think

It’s not too far out of reach just yet

To fall into the belief that love is dead

Would be to say that faith comes not from the heart but the head

It doesn’t work like that

I believe that we are more than this

I believe that Faith and Love still exist

It’s so plain to see, at least it is to me

That we’re missing the point of life

So focused on what’s wrong

We forget to remember that something might be right

There is an ember silhouetted by a star lit sky

And even for just that second in time it becomes one too

For even it knows it came from something bigger than its self

I believe that we are more than us

I believe in Faith, in Love, and in Trust

And I believe that Whoever put us here did it out of Love

You know I never really thought of it like that. Where does pain come from? Right now in my life even with everything that is going on, and everything that has happened, I still do believe in love. I think that this poems helps me to understand what is going on. To have some hope to hold onto that everything will be good in the end. One can only hope. Keep Posting!
