Like you'd rather be anyone

To anyone other than him

You think you've got some issues

Well, I think it's just gone to your head

I know you'd rather be anywhere else

Cause what's left silent, is really said



But what makes the night so special to you

Is it that I've got no one in my arms

I know I didn't know you that well, but I

Didn't think it'd hit me quite this hard



I know if we made it right

Right now I wouldn't want to break

My past from all I'll ever do

But I think it's time for you to realize

That what you forget you never lose

And the things you regret are the things you chose

Not to remember about the past
