I wonder what you're thinking right now

Do you pray about when we'll meet

Do you pray about me



I hope you are holding on to your innocence

Or are you just being a careless teen

Or are you holding out for me



Every night I say a little prayer for you

Before I drift in dream

Every night I write a little note in my head

Before I fall to my sleep



I pray to God that you can feel me

I pray to God that I'll know you on the street

I pray to God every night before I drift in dream

I pray to God every night that you are waiting for me

I pray to God that you feel me praying for you



I wonder what you're thinking right now

Cause right now I'm thinking of you

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Do you ever lay awake at night and pray for your future wife(or husband), well I do. I believe that even though I don't know who she is yet, I believe that she can feel me praying for her.

Maybe its because I'm a girl, but I have always thought and drempt about my future husband, sinse I was like 8 years old. This poem is simply amazing and your way with words is so simple and great.
