The love of mine is stained and torn by the girl who was everything

I never knew the pain of true love, I never the give and no take

The night you took my hand I swear I was higher than the heavens

I never knew of the fall to earth, I never knew of my jealous ways

Pretending to be in love but afraid we didn't take the first chance

I never knew of the steps to take, I never knew the games you played



We fooled everyone and even oursleves looking for the stones to step

You never knew my true intentions, You never knew my silent words

If love is blind why could we see the insecure love of hate and jealousy

You never knew I even tried, You never knew this insecure person

It's hard to love with nothing in return and living infront of a mirror

You never knew of the two way glass, You never knew I was on the otherside



After the copied work and wasted time you came to find as well did I

We never knew our foolish ways, We never knew of the lessons learned

Seperated with a chain that holds true it's hard to love again

We never knew we cashed our checks, We never knew we would find again

Lessons learned and stitches placed the scar will show

We never knew we would try again, We never knew love shines through
