Ms. Mysterious

Silence screams loud in my ears

Bringing me to the river fall of tears

My budding lips are glued tight

I seal them for they might

Just bust and reveal too much

But rousing emotions want to gush

Out of my beating chest

Giving you elating rest

From suspenseful swallows nest

With truth brimming to hatch now and behold

Broken shells to catch heart yolks to hold

Keeping core secrets can be a place called cold

Mysteries are meant to be solved

That’s why I am Ms. mysterious

You are oh so curious

Solve me

I feel the probing questions  you don’t ask

Pulling on my screeching hinges-resistance a task

Almost futile

My heart is on a Nile of dreams

Floating, flowing along moonbeams

That flicker reflections of thoughts unseen

Silence quakes me

Evidence of the crime scene wakes me

With so many signs and wonders to say

My only relief is to kneel and pray

For only God can wheel and sway

My hearts desperate stowaway

From foolish halftime giveaway

Mysteries are meant to be solved

That’s why I am Ms. mysterious

You are oh so curious

Solve me
