Empty maracas make no sound
Spark the flame to spread the fire all around
Launch off with speed to take you higher
We must revive what’s inside
If we are to effectively change the outside
World hungry for the truth we must reach
Our families, neighborhoods and youth
We must teach them the way
But we must first walk by what we say
From the inside out.
