What in the world is good hair?
Is it the defining line for being fair?
What is this high yellow crap
I got Indian in me and not so much yak
A quarter this, a third of that
A littlie quality added to my black
Nestling in this skin I am in
The lighter I can be the more I’ll fit in
Try to deny it if you want but you know its true
If a yellow bone walked in through the door
You would look past a chocolate smore
If the sister with her main to her tail bone
Swung her thing in your face
You would run fast to give her a ring tone
Its just the way we’re taught to perceive beauty
Its by the hue, and the booty.
Cause we are color struck
Sometimes dark skin sistas are out a luck
Ya’ll missing the gold
Messing with a buck
The richest soil
The darkest oar
Holds within it something pure
And rare to be found
So come on let the cocoa flavor
sober your intoxicated savor
Get with the rich dark chocolate wafer
