Isn’t there anything on your mind?
I’ve got my heart to set aflame.
Can I spread my wings tonight?
Don’t let the tears linger here.
Don’t let the frostbite get me, please.
Perhaps none of this exists.
I stand by to hear your thoughts.
You hear the noise I throw your way.
There are dark beings in my sleep,
Wishing for my death.
I just let the rain fall down.
I want to feel it everywhere.
I want to feel it saturate the night.
I watched the buildings explode in the atmosphere.
This kept me warm.
I needed a scene of fireworks.
So I could forget the darkness.
I scream out in madness,
With the things I have to say.
Sometimes I just forget,
And I get carried away.
I call out just to hear my voice;
Hear it survive in the tunnel I see.
I just let the rain fall down.
I want to feel it everywhere.
I want to feel it saturate the night.
