If you came up to me out of the blue,

Could I stand strong and hide behind this smile?

Cause I swear my mood changes, fast as the weather

And I don't want the world to see what I'm feeling.

I think I hide it, oh so well.



They all can see me, when I come around.

Every falter I make is shining right through.

And I know they're all watching.

I try to glow so you'll remember me,

Cause I swear I'll break if you don't.

And I know they're all watching.



Seeing through their eyes,

I'm looking for the moon.

I run myself in circles

And slam into the sun.

Here I bleed.

The world caving in on me.

Another night right here.

And they're all watching,

Like their waiting for my tears.

I have to hide these tears.



They all can see me, when I come around.

I'll see the rain one day far off,

And it'll hide the tears that fall.

And I may be smiling and laughing

They watch me like I'm bound to snap.

While I'm looking for the moon.
