Taunt, a quiet whisper there

A star exploding in the night

A face familiar, out of sight

Alone, a fear, it grows to terror

My heavy heart, it wants to drown

A sea of acid in a blender

I'm so confused with how you act

I want to show you everything

My insides melt my dying heart

Lessen bitter thoughts surrounding

All my tears that feed the flame

As music pours into my soul

I'm throwing keys right out the door

I want to feel your presence here

Every bit the way I did before

Safety in the oddest ways

Fascination breaking my spirit down

Damn how I wish it would rain

Wash away my despair into the river
