“My Socks Are Tight”
My toes hurt; my socks are tight.
Who brought up this idea so bright?
They come in colors blue, black and green.
I wear them all day, it truly seems.
My socks are tight, the swelling is gone.
The Doctor’s are right, they’re hardly wrong.
To walk a mile, in my shoes?
They hurt so bad; I’m singing the blues!
