Around My Shack
“Around My Shack”
I took a picture, that’s a fact.
Just a few feet, from my Shack!
Chickens peck, as the Rooster crows.
Horses stomp, as pigs start to grow.
Shirts flapping in the evening breeze.
Sipping tea, swinging on the tree.
Cutting hay, in the back lot.
Trying to hide, from temperatures so hot!
Summer beats down, on my face!
Things to do around my place.
We clean up, headed for town!
We dance and sing till the sun goes down!
