There I was, an eleven year old girl, on her
way home from school, along Manhattan's west side.
I get to the cat lady, resting on the concrete stoop,
With her cat feeding chores behind her.
I sit in the middle of the sidewalk and entice the big
Tom cat into my lap.
There i sit, in heaven, and I curl around this old cat.
I go deep in, to bask in the lava-like heart of the Universe.
Gotta go. I'll be late, and that might entail questions i
cannot answer.
