The incense spoke to me this morning

Glowing pinpoint in the pre-dawn dark,

   interval between night & day

Incense doesn't talk

Isn't that sort of its thing,

   to work quietly in the background,

      providing atmospheric support

It crackled, sending me a

   perfumed morse code

I got the message, I just don't know

   what it said
