full-blown migraine

pain so intense, no medicine,

   potion or powder could touch it, 

      no invocation, no prayer,

         no plea for mercy heard

the idea that my mind was trapped inside

   my skull and that I would never 

      be able to escape the agony

I've declared it to be the most

   terrifying thought I've ever had in my life
