I will pay for my life through moments of desperation and pain
Between the sequence of company and light that make me feel better again
And pray for my life when only sorrow and self-pity remain
But when the company and light return
I will forget to feel shame
I will carry through my life the torture of feeling too much

And heave through my life the truth that i will never feel enough
