Bricks of a building

It hurts when you're built up,

To be knocked down,
When the cement decided to leave,
You crumble,  without foundations.

How to stand strong,
Trembling,
Withstanding erosion and gales,
Unless you speak, knocks the breath out of me,
And I fall.

Cant hit the floor when your worlds turned upside down,
Where's my rock now?
Knocking me down,
I shan't stay in your way,
I'm lost, confused,
My steel melted.

Burn me to the ground,
Choke me with thick fumes,
Splintering glass, let it rain,
No revival for this one,
Sweep feelings into rubble,
Let tears fade to smoke,
Suffocatingly thick smoke.
