Well they met in Spring and fell in love,
and danced away as the music played,
by Fall they knew that they would get along
by loving strong and going long,
they could live their life like a country song...
When a boy meets a girl, and a girl meets a boy,
and they fall in love and share their joy,
then settle down out on the land,
and the country boy becomes a man,
and they live through good days and times of strife,
and the country girl becomes a farmer's wife...
And they grow their crops out in the fields,
and it's not too long before a Baby's real,
and then another comes along...
and the young ones gow up big and tall,
and they stick together through it all..
by loving strong and going long,
they live their life like a country song.
And when it was time for the rocking chair,
and shades of gray were on their hair,
they looked back on the times they shared,
Living true and blue got them through,
no matter what the world may do,
it always paid to stay true and blue,
living bt there on the land,
and sticking to their lifelong plan,
