wake me up/ wake me up/ the nightmare’s began/ and it won’t stop/ wake me up/ pour water on my face/ just let me wake up/ to escape from this dream/ tears start to form/ as it goes on and on/ no one there to help me/ or save me from this wound/ mother yells/ dad doesn’t care/ brother so selfish / as sister pretends/ blood pours down/ as rain shatters on the ground/ nothing dissolves/ just swimming in anger/ pain and frustration/ everything around me/ a nightmare it seems/ what to believe/ my faith escapes me/ parents don’t care/ as they favor their son/ blame it on me/ cuz I’m the closest one/ why do I try/ I can’t be that way/ live up to the words/ I wish I can be/ but can’t be/ in the eyes of my heart/ I try to let go/ forgive and forget/ can’t forget, can’t forgive/ what am I to do/ with lost faith and hope/ broken hearts don’t mend/ as another stranger comes/ and shatters it again/ disappointed by ppl/ as they come and go/ make stupid promises/ I’ve heard it all before/ repeat and repeat/ an endless nightmare it seems/ as bruises form/ over unhealed cuts/ bloody and down/ I’m already in hell/ sick and tired/ pls. wake me up…
