Bleeding hearts/ we were once one/ two souls in one body/ now two people apart/ strangers in a mall/ unrecognized faces/ walking past the halls/ we used to be friends/ why did it have to end/ talking and laughing/ it couldn’t last/ pls. Tell me why/ pls. Tell me why/ memories are forgotten/ left in the brain/ lost and away/ nobody remembers/ how did we become/ the past so lost/ walking fast/ speeding up/ couldn’t say hi/ uncomfortable and real/ how did we get this way/ how did we become/ strangers in a day/ when we were sad/ depressed and alone/ hugging and talking/ laughing and screaming/ we were once one…/ now days have past/ and we’re left forgotten/ no more hugging/ no more crying/ no more talking/ just people from the past/ glancing back/ pls. Tell me why/ we’re so apart/ we hardly say hello/ we never said goodbye/ but it looks like we’re ending/ so I guess…/ this is goodbye…
