I prayed to the Lord/ for someone to hear me/ to actually listen/ and to help me through this fight/ when I was in my room/ the music was blaring/ no voice was heard/ but the screaming tears/ that flowed every night/ I prayed for someone/ who can show me the way/ cuz no one’s around/ to tell me it’s ok/ I was falling down/ with no help up/ these legs were useless/ cuz I felt like crashing/ the heart in my chest/ was shattered to pieces/ and I couldn’t do it/ I couldn’t stand/ I needed strength/ so I prayed for help/ cuz nothing was working/ it was out of control/ thought it may not of seem/ the outside was strong/ but the inside was dying/ my faith was fading/ as my prayers died/ than you came along/ and helped me up/ my faith is strong/ now more than ever/ the scriptures are read/ more than before/ because you helped me up/ when no one was there/ listened to the words/ that came out of my mouth/ they had meaning and you cared/ you showed me the verses/ you talked and you shared/ I may not have shown it/ but I really do care/ it strengthened me up/ and now I’m standing/ like a baby learning to walk/ I didn’t give up/ cuz you helped me through these days/ when I felt so weak/ and I was crashing down/ you were the answer/ the prayer I kept saying/ every night in my sleep/ he answered my prayer/ and it turned out to be you! / so thank you..
