lies and deceit/ why do we live/ when everything hurts/ when friends come and go/ and we’re left to dissolve/ to wallow in this world/ to wander and stare/ act like we care/ when the world is fading/ and no one cares/ the problem is me/ the problem is you/ when parents scream/ for no purpose/ make their kids feel/ as if they’re worthless/ put the chains/ the rules they grew up with/ you speak of freedom/ but I only see prejudice/ the rude comments/ and racist remarks/ what’s with this world/ if it really is great/ beauty on the outside/ destruction on the in/ no one is good/ no one is pure/ when kids are beaten/ you just walk away/ ignorance is a bliss/ so why tell the truth/ drunken speeches/ with those slurs and hits/ you didn’t know what you were doing/ till’ you sobered and remembered/ it’s all about you/ you and your problems/ though others have worse/ you don’t really care/ so you say f u.. / you lose the friends/ and you don’t know why/ you blame it on them/ how can it be you?/ cuz it’s all about you/ and this world sucks/ isn’t that the truth…
