saying goodbye/to someone who knew/ someone who told me/ just what to do/ when people would've left/ you stayed/ with great advice/ saying goodbye/ going your way/ watching you leave/ brings a tear to my eye/ though i don't show it/ i wish i did/ give a big hug/ pretend i did/ don't say goodbye/ not forever/ not now/ still in touch/ pls. keep in touch/ when no one was here/ friends far apart/ you came and consoled me/ you kept me alive/ thoughts of rage/ bittersweet memories/ turned it around/ they are no more/ thanks to you/ the nightmares are gone/ falling into darkness/ though i still believed/ brought me into the light/ now i really believe/ nowhere but up/ hopefully and truly/ i won't punch the walls/ nor will i be wasted/ Thanks to the Lord/ thanks to you.../ for showing me the way/ when i had nothing to do...
