i love typhoons/ when it comes/ it blows you away/ it brings lightning and thunder/ the wind howls of destruction/ the hard rain/ washing everything away/ and when it's over/ there's a calm serenity of it/ when you go outside/ just sit for a while/ the cloudy sky/ there's no sunshine/ it's peaceful and quiet/ the power's out/ there's no tv/ there's no computer/ no nothing/ but the pouring rain/ it sooths the soul/ it's a feeling that can't be written/ when you're feeling angry/ when you're feeling down/ a typhoon will come/ and take everything away/ the after-math/ is nirvana../ it's peaceful/ it's quiet/ i love typhoons..

Typhoon Chabi hit us last night.. around 9pm sunday.. had no power until 1:50pm today.. it's weird how people rely on technology.. how much.. people NEED it to survive.. than a typhoon comes.. and then.. there's nothing to do.. but go out.. hang out with friends.. get closer to people.. but than the power comes back on.. and everyone's running towards the tv.. their computer.. going online.. and we forget the little things.. how fun it was to just be outside.. hang out in the jungle.. talk with friends.. without any distractions of shows or who's online.. or.. just go sit outside.. watch the day go by.. the leaves falling from the trees.. the peacefullness.. the quietness.. that everything's all right.. the typhoon's over...
