all you want is more but you need it less

you get up one step then take one back

you know it's not right when you want one left

so you follow it forward then there's nothing next



you know you always want it and need it to give

and when you're ever bleeding you want it to live

you're after seconds ending but they've already gone

you'd want it neverending and don't tell me wrong

i sit here waiting, waiting for nothing

what's there to wait for?



every time it's all in line

got to knock more of these pieces aside

it's no surprise. i'll never know why.

wherever i think i'm going

pretty sure ive already been

no matter how long i keep on going

it seems to me i'll never win



drowning now

but not dying somehow

looking around

dont know ive fallen down

when i owe more than i own

what's wrong is that nothing's right



my status is set to stagnation

and i can never reach the escape

to this trap that i'm locked inside
