THINGS SPRING BRINGS

Thunder.

Listen as it rolls in from the not so distant East.

Lightening flashing Mountains echo Kids start running Birds now rustling Screaming Singing Wind Chimes Ringing

Fill the air and.... I just can't help but smile.

Wind is blowing Feel it cooling Thunder rolling Clouds are gathering overhead.

Swings are swaying Kids stopped Playing Praying for the storm to end.

Raindrops falling Parents calling Come Inside the Rain now pouring and...

I can't help but smile.

Thunder cracking trees are waving Windows shaking Children waiting watchin as the cars pass by,

Headlights beaming Slightly speeding through the puddles Splashing Streaming.

Little eyes Widen Lightenin's Frightnin' Tears start falling Mama comes quick she's now Consolin' and...

I can't help but smile.

Angels are clapping Dark Clouds passing Rain stops dancing tapping trapping Everyone Inside.

Birds again Singing Sun now Beaming Shining Brightly Grass now Drying

Children stop crying, now bravely stating "That wasn't so bad" as they March back playing.....

And I can't help, but SMILE.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Wrote this while sitting outside during a thunderstorm and observing closely everything I could see and hear.

Oh I really liked this piece. The way you tell the story. The way you describe what's going on. Your choice of words and there arrangement. This is very nice i must say.

Great imagery, val...and it is interesting and admirable how a casual observance at this storm can provoke and create such a convincing poem...Smilesz... Some storm, i say~!~ hahaha. Take care for now, val.. i must add: i thoroughly enjoyed your poems here... hehe..
