Pure am I in front of untouched glass
There are no fingerprints, only sparkling crystal.
She looks at me in admiration-
Her own dress- quite stunning about her shoulders
I smile at myself in the epitome of this moment.
Who is this woman in the soft creme lace,
With hair set perfectly at her shoulders
And her eyes a shimmering blue?
I blink and a blanket of security wraps her arms around me.
Being officially his, I smile
My teeth shining and baring with all of my glory
A subtle turn to follow my friend
And the elegant swish of my dress follows
A veil of innocence atop my crown
Sparkling in cathedral light
I walk to you- slowly but ultimately
I have no will to look back,
And never will I.
I watch your eyes stay fixed on me
Your one and only for eternity
The array of flowers in my grasp
And rosepetals among the aisle
Gentle, happy smiles-
And all eyes on the innocence
Before we become one innocence, together.
I rise to your side and never let you go
Warmth radiating from your entire soul
And as the words are spoken
We are broken from loneliness
And bound in love forever.
Your sweet kiss upon my lips,
The tingling in my fingertips,
Tells me you're the one for all time,
I walk with you, hand in hand
Down the aisle again
A gentle smile
A steadfast touch
We are one, forevermore.
