Our first year together has come and gone,

And the love we have for one another

Strengthens as time passes on.

We've had our ups and downs

But our love has saved us

From making the mistake

So many others have made.

You've been beside me every step of the way-

Through good and bad;

You make me feel protected and loved

And nothing can get me down for long.

The child you and I created

Grows inside of me and the time draws near,

But I'm not afraid for I know you'll be there.

This year has been the happiest for me in many years

And I hope we share many more

In the future as husband and wife.

You're the best and I love you,

More than any words could ever say.

I wonder if you feel this way, too

Because I only live for you and without you

Nothing is worth living for.
