Cry to Dawn

Here my time is consumed

Into the light of the sun

Listen to me Dawn

For I’ve nothing done!

They come for me, to kill

But I have not their blood

You lie and rape and steal

My time unto the Sun!

To whom might I call out to

Who would give ear

Who would grasp the grasp of Death

And who would wipe the tears?

That omniscient being

we dread to procure

Lives within the life of you

And for him there is no cure

Whereas life is something longed for

In each fore bearing way

So lost I was discovered

So lost  I’ll forever stay

To every creature upon the earth

Where do you call and wait

For the sinning lives forgotten

Yet one will drive the steak?

Drive it through the heart of me, then

And kill all evil bliss

A vampire is what I prove to be

Stealing a bloody kiss

But you will not forget me

I am not your Death

The omniscient being

Is the devil that you possess.

For I speak words of truth

And you, You speak lies

The vampire in my youth

My bloody appetite

Is envied by you, my enemy

For jealousy invades you

I would grasp the grasp of Death

But you would be afraid to .
