I'll be here forever. 

Now tell me, why don't you believe in a "happy ever after?" 

Or maybe even a "once upon a time." 

I'll even hold your heart, so long as you hold mine, 

Now Darling can't you see you’re one of the brightest stars. 

A diamond in the rough, one that's never too far. 

In my eyes you’re a vast ocean, moving along, always in motion. 

You never turn a blind eye or run away from anything. 

Now Darling won't you tell me why you always seem to sting? 

I know life can be rough and fray away at your inner self, 

But Darling you have to believe there's much more left. 

Listen to your heart and how it beats, 

And no matter what don't ever let your kindness cease. 

You're a bright flower among leaves, a gem among stones. 

You're a beautiful creature the world has never known. 

Can't you see Darling this world can be an ugly place, 

But all these people need is to see your shining face. 

When you look in the mirror what do you see staring back? 

Is it a princess, a warrior, or maybe even an adventure searching in the black? 

Darling can't you see you’re a force to be reckoned with, 

Maybe even the calm before the storm. 

People don't realize it, and maybe the same goes for you 

But you're the one thing on this Earth that everyone always looks up too. 

Now Darling you're smile can remind someone of their happiest memory, 

And even though you might not see it, other people always agree. 

When you're down just hear my words, 

And know that I'll never ever let you go. 

Darling, Darling can't you see the affect you have on everything. 

Even when you don't know the way, you always know the right thing to say. 

Don't look at life as an obstacle to get over. 

Think of it as just a little bit closer 

To something you know you'll love full of wonder, 

A powerful feeling just waiting to be uncovered. 

Darling you'll know what I'm talking about in the near future. 

So don't you go feeling lesser and lesser. 

Even when the storm rages on and there seems like there's nothing else, 

Just know that no matter what to always do you're best. 

Darling life can be a wild ride,
