You’ve been there through everything

Through broken hearts

And fights with my mom

But that's only the beginning, don’t let me start



When I wanted to die

Through nervous break downs

I would go to you

And the solution was found



When my bags were packed

And I was ready to leave

You told me to look around

And see the people who care for me



You make me laugh

When I'm in tears

Make me strong

When I’m diluted with fear



When I didn’t get who

I had wanted so long

You told me there’d be someone new

Even though I said you were wrong



We laugh and we joke

Don’t care who sees

I just want to say thanks

For always believing in me



Best friends we shall stay

Through the easy and the tough

Because I’ll be there for you too

When life gets too rough



On the phone until late

Us both laughing bout our future lives

One day we will be grown up

And it’s hard to even realize



We won’t be together everyday

We will be occupied with other things

But best friends forever

Is what we will always be
