I saw the sun rising
Starting a new day,
It was such an awesome thing
I stopped so I could pray.
The day was going oh so well
No worries did I say,
I think its from the rising sun
When I stopped to pray.
The birds are singing, day is bright
The sky is blue and clear
Stopping for a morning prayer
will make a wonderful year.
