Dear God
Where are you when it seems there is no ground
When all is crumbling around
When i sink in the sand, beneath the rain
Where are you when the clouds come
When the lightning flashes
When the rainbow leaves
Where are you when it all hurts inside
When the belly aches and gnaws
But food is not forsaken
Where are you when my heart skips
When the dreams are missed
When there are cries in the night
Do my troubles seem so small
To everyone but me
Do they seem so petty
They are not worthy to even see
Does my cries sound like whines
To ears that have grown dim
Does my worrys and my doubt
Frustate all whithin
I feel so lost in all the dark
Surrounded with this fog
Its as if a house of mirrors
Has hidden me from God
