i have a secret to hide

not a lie, but a want

a yearning to kiss her lips

and feel her smooth skin

i want to hold her hand and dance 

i want to pretend the world doesn't matter

and that's there's no responsibility 

i want to pick her up and spin her around

i want to play with her and see her smile

even if it's only for a while

to hold her in my arms and tell her that I'm here

oh god if only you knew how you make me feel

you make me suffocate just breathing you in

with my head on your chest I can hear your heart beat

it beats like a stampede of a thousand horses

whenever I hug you

at least I know it's not just me

even if it's just a while
