Christmas brings out the good in people,
Thats what they say.
But I know the truth.
Inside, you're the same old way.
You may appear loving,
You might even smile
But it's all just a phase
Nice isn't your style.
After the holidays
Your true self will show.
But unlike the Grinch
Your heart will not grow.
You'll snicker and sneer,
The laughter will cease.
The happiness is gone.
And you've let out your beast.
You really need to stop
All this crazy maddness
Because all of these things
Are bringing great saddness
I don't think you care.
You've been told before.
No matter what's said
You still ignore.
One day this will end,
You'll be taken away.
Your body will die
And no one will cry.
