He kissed my cheek and, he held my hand.
"Now my daughter, don't lose that heart. Don't lose sight of, who you are."
"This world is cruel, but you're no the fool."
He held me close and, then he said...
"Life is crazy, and I know you're gettin older. These hearts don't deserve you. These hearts grow colder."
I stopped my crying, "Please don't stop trying."
He said, "Don't get your hopes up, when they promise you love."
"Look in the mirror and see yourself. You're more beautiful, than anyone else."
"And my daughter, anyone would be lucky to have you as theirs. Just don't forget...He must wipe away your tears."
Daddy told me..."Don't fret you'll be okay. Don't lose sight of what I say."
"You're my little girl, but I know you're gettin older. As time goes on... Please don't grow colder."
