A smile to die for

A voice kisses my ear

Someone falls to the floor

Oh...It was me



Naked lies talk back to us

And mock the day we were born

I hold her softly close though I must

Stop it now before it's too late.



I watch as she happily cries out

And smile as she glows in the dark

Must the distance be aloud?

If only I could have her



Words that persue the darkness

I wish to grab her now

I wish to be the one to show her bliss

But I can't take her from his soul.



As I lie my head against the pillow

Her face dances in beat to my heart

A broken fence lays in the road

Thoughts race to the edge of the earth



Now hold on tight, it'll all get better

Hold on close, he's your light

Hold on darlin' the pain won't last forever

Let's dance til our feet give way...
