Space Mountain

My eyes are pushed open,

And I offer no resistance

Red and orange fractals bubble over everything

Growing so bright they morph into colors

I've never seen before

Lines begin to stretch out from me to where I just was,

Just a second ago

A split in what we like to call reality

I am sucked in, it all goes black,

Springing back again in full vivid color

Flying ever faster, a rocket in space

without a physical destination

Cells rearrange, forming a shape once more

Upon my return, I open my eyes -- Again? Did I?

Familiarizing myself once more with the  physical realm,

Shaking from the intensity,

Trying to wrap my mind around the magnitude.
