Looking up, seeing green leaves against a blue sky
All around me the forest’s life stirs
I’m comforted by the blanket of tranquility
Peace flowing from every rock, tree, singing bird
The unicorn walks gracefully
Love and serenity radiating, emanating
Eye contact and I’m enchanted
Time for the ride of my life
Overtaken by a sense of childlike wonder
Riding through a cavernous kaleidoscope
Colors I can’t describe, for I’ve never seen them before
Standing tall and proud
An immense, majestic castle
Steady on its solid foundation of cloud
Enormous, yet somehow humble
I grasp the handle of the tall wooden door
It opens without the anticipated struggle
Wandering through the castle
Gasping at the artwork on the walls
Each masterpiece more amazing than the last
I arrive at a door, compelled once again to enter
Feelings of hospitality, warmth, home
I stretch out on the soft bed,
And fall asleep, hearing light
