Vermillion angel

Folder:
Unsortables

The sky sings with her melody,
her fingertips glisten with poison.

Every breath ragged,
every touch a tremor.

Sadness cloaks her in it's clutch,
she looks through damp lashes at the world.

Devoid of emotion, stripped of humanity,
nurtured by sin, given up control to the beast inside.

Blood drips down hr cheeks,
silent tears, from empty eyes.

Her soul's corrupted, heart encaged,
broken and lifeless, she suffers.

Wings drag the ground, fractured,
bare and broken from the fall from grace.

A vermillion moon rises on the horizon,
the fallen angel searches for shelter.
