She's tried various keys,
yet the lock still won't open,
the one that will set her free.

She's loved and lost,
and loved again,
only to end up crying
alone into her pillow.

So many nights crying herself to sleep,
when will it stop?

She found happiness once,
touched perfection.

But she didn't trust it,
too much happiness was
new and scary for her.

Now all she wants is that
small taste of happiness again,
yet the sign always says
"Access Denied".

Which key is it,
will she ever feel that happiness again?

Or will she remain on the other side,
where she can never get in.
