These wings cannot carry me

Not any farther than today

And the way you act

So cold and distant

Send cold gusts of wind

To further ravage my feathers

And I'm falling, I'm falling

My hollow bones are broken

If you'd only hold your arms out

If you'd only touch my face

I could fly again

But you don't want to save me

You'd rather watch me fall

Hear my body crunch against the rocks below

So I do nothing by shudder

Close my eyes, waiting for this fall to end

And I can't begin to believe this

Abandoned by you again
