Daddy's girl
that i am
alway s daddy's baby
from my first step to the major fall
you where there
the government tried
people cried
but nothing could seperate us
yrs apart because of a war
coming home not ever sure
but still here i was.... daddy's girl
the lost of my son
my wedding day
walking down the aisle on the arm of a man i most admire
looking at you as i was about to become a wife
and i knew i was still ... daddy's girl
then the divorce came
and again there stood my daddy
letting me know i was still his girl
thru my ups and thru my downs
my daddy has been there thru it all
so to my daddy i say ..........
no matter how old i am or what life may throw
our way
ALWAYS i will be DADDY'S GIRL
My Daughter will be 18 next month. If I've earned half from her the respect, that you show your Father, I will be more thatn happy. Your Poem is a wonderful tribute.
