i'm writing to you
on behalf of the human race
begging for a chance to
just see your face
the world's gone to shit
and we're all doomed to hell
trapped on our polluted prison cell
so if you're somewhere out there, please save us
there's children dying
while their mothers are raped
trapped in a world
they cannot escape
their home is on the front line
of someone's war
it's become a sick game
to kill like never before
so if you're somewhere out there, please save us
rivers are running dirty
until they're replaced
the beaches are giving it all up
for our vacations sake
extinction won't long be a problem
cause soon they'll all be gone
we're killing everything slowly
and there won't be a "long-run"
so if you're somewhere out there, please save us
it won't be long until we see
a mushroom cloud over humanity
a brave new world where hope has died
and all we can do is weep and hide
blood will run down the streets
along with faded childhood dreams
there's nothing out there, we're all alone
no one to save us from this place we call home
and then one day, i had a dream
that there is hope for humanity
a world to love, to save and try
to stop the evil men who want it to die
a chance for peace, for you and me
a chance for love of all humanity
so if you're somewhere out there,
