We have sight without seeing

We blind men who wander

With no comprehension of

Things we sent asunder



We have ears without hearing

We deaf men who walk

With no understanding

Of those who would talk



We have touch without feeling

We numb men who follow

With no recognition

In eyes that are hollow



We have sense without senses

We heartless men who tread

Though we may look alive ...



We are merely undead.

I wasn't actually feeling this way myself; I was commenting on people in general (and when I say "men" I mean mankind)
