I'm thankful for the Sun
For showing me its fun.
And, tho' it was only a glimmer,
I know--one day--it will shimmer!
Anyone who can be as powerful as its shine
Will--forever be--my confidante, in time...
But, being the Tree that I Am,
I'll just sit here---like a shady elm.
