Drifting in and out
Of eyelids
Heavy and distracted
By the banging of my head
against the window.
This machine is running faster than i ever could
Taking me from one somewhere
to another.
Just a silent transition of residence
And a sign reading a new address
Outside in the snow
I see something
Perhaps i left behind
Behind now
And it might as well be
forever.
It is.
I don't know what's to come
And the ones driving this thing,
I don't think they know either
Except for Simon
I am sure he knows exactly where he is going.
I keep remembering that ride
Years later now
The inside of that car
was moving just as fast
as the scenery
Blur
Something in the snow
Blur
