Battelle Memorial Institute of Jefferson City Ohio received a 1 billion dollar contract to develop weaponized anthrax. The lab
supplies Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. Its strains were provided by Ft. Detrick in Frederick Maryland. This was a violation of international agreements on ending biological warfare. The Washington Post's Susan Schmitt and Rick Weiss on Dec 16, 2001 reported that the weaponized anthrax directed against liberal Democratic senators Kennedy, Daschle, and Leahy had the fingerprint of 5 military labs. Since then, asst. managing editor Marilyn Thompson of the Washinton Post, higher up on the corporate ladder and more connected to intelligence agencies,
has said on the Jim Bohannon Show that the anthrax has been destroyed. This is not true, according to many, including public health researcher Leonard Horowitz who has written 9 books such as Emerging Viruses on the subject of
biological warfare.
