Dear Pat,
Your humor is infectious, your sword of wit most
sharp, your energy inexhaustible, your charisma
most magnetic.
You have separated yourself from your Pope
and bishops, Dominicans and Franciscans
and hundreds of millions of Catholics
on the subject of peace.
You were upset on Bill Gates' network which has
just fired Phil Donahue.. upset that
a young courageous woman will not salute the flag.
Yet those who follow Christ are not to have
2 masters.. 1 cannot pledge allegiance heart and soul both to God
and to a flag, especially when they are so in conflict.
