It's hard to sleep at night

When your head is full of fright

These long nights allow for roaming minds

Exposing my inablility to unwind

Thoughts are jumbled in my head

Monsters hide underneath the bed

Furious voices flood my mind

For once can you just be kind

Lay in bed & let their pain flood your heart

Remember these are your loved ones so quit pulling them apart

Glass breaks & you are thrown into the violent past

Your mind numbs out waiting & wondering how long hell will last

Insomnia is what you call a distraction from sleep that's feared

Dillusions are your way to get away from here

Yet here is your shelter filled with hatred & madness

There in your mind a home filled with gladness

When hell breaks you down i have a suggestion

Think of a love & drown the hatred with no need for question
